September 2009 - Fall Updates

Welcome again to the President’s Corner. Here we update you about what is going on with us and with the company.

Our Quarterly Newsletter has been posted. The Newsletter features an interview with golf entrepreneur and business leader, Tony Korologos, owner of the nation’s biggest golf blog, Hooked on Golf Blog, and online golf networking site, The Golf Space. The Newsletter also includes news and upcoming events from some of the best golf resorts in the country. We will continue this series with interviews of leaders in the golf industry that have some benefit to you as golfers. The intent here is not just to provide information but to give you something that you can act upon to improve your golf experiences. We firmly believe that golf should be fun, fast and affordable and the business leaders we meet and share with you will reflect these beliefs.

We jumped into the world of Facebook. Although somewhat cumbersome at first, Facebook is a great place to interact with us and with other golfers. Discussion boards are posted. In addition, we posted many more pictures from the resorts we visited over the past year. Feel free to post comments and let us know what you think. If you have not used Facebook before, this is a great opportunity to set up a free account and ease into the online social scene.

Our new Travel Center article is up featuring The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. If you have not been to The Broadmoor, put this on your travel plans in the coming years. They have great golf, plenty of activities and the area of Colorado Springs is famous for the US Olympic Training Center, US Air Force Academy and Pikes Peak, a 14,000+ foot peak with access via road or rail. The Shoutbox is getting some use. The Shoutbox lets you add a comment simply by providing any name and posting any message. Please keep it clean and fun. Find the Shoutbox on our Homepage on the left. It’s very easy to use.

Our Affiliate Program continues to grow. We have over 60 affiliates and counting. If you have a website and want to get paid to promote My Golf Book, join our Affiliate Program. Once you join, simply add a link to My Golf Book on your website and you get paid whenever someone uses the link to buy a product on our website. We have the best affiliate program in the golf industry and we have some exciting news coming in the next weeks to still improve the program.
