October 5, 2008 - Fall Golf

Welcome again to the President’s Corner.  Here we update you about what is going on with us and with the company.

The fall golf season is upon us.  Our friends in the North will soon be putting away their clubs for winter while those of us in the South finally see milder temperatures and ideal golfing conditions.  Remember that there are many wonderful resorts and courses in the South that are ready to welcome visitors looking to get out of the cold and snow this winter.  With the close of the golf season for many of you, now is the perfect time to take a few notes about the advances you made this year in your golf games.  This way, you can hit the ground running in the spring and won’t waste time repeating the same mistakes made in past years.  Use My Golf Book to record your improvements and remember what you did to play better this year.  You’ll be ready to play better golf as soon as the season starts next year.

Remember that My Golf Book makes a great gift for any golfer.  With the upcoming holidays, let that special golfer know that you care about them and want to see them improve their golf games by giving them My Golf Book.

The Blogs page has become the Forums page.  We continue to make enhancements to this website and will be making significant changes to the look and feel of the Forums page in the coming weeks.

The Races, which track book sales, started last month and the September champion was the Pink Plaid book.  I’m sure the Pink Plaid book will continue to be very competitive.   The Race is updated each week based on sales.  Each month a winner will be declared and the race will be reset.  See the Races page for more details.

The new Travel Center is posted and features Destination Kohler in Wisconsin.  Don’t even think about remodeling your kitchens or bathrooms without visiting Destination Kohler and playing at Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run.  While in Kohler, you can browse through the innovative Kohler Design Center and wet areas throughout the properties to find the perfect additions to your home.  Destination Kohler has events planned throughout the year.  For example, Oktoberfest at the Kohler Food & Wine Experience is set for October 23-26, 2008.  Read more about Destination Kohler and their fall specials in the Travel Center

The Pro’s Corner also features a tip from Todd Wagner, Manager of the Kohler Golf Academy.  In the Pro’s Corner, there is a link to the Kohler Golf Academy Online Instruction Videos.  Check out these short instructional videos for views of Destination Kohler and to help improve your game.

Please continue to send in ideas for featured resorts to information@mygolfbook.com.  We appreciate your ideas.  If there are any questions about our books or our website, feel free to contact us as well.

Enjoy your game.

Chris
