Welcome again to the President’s Corner. Here we update you about what is going on with us and with the company. With the improving weather, now is a great time to get out on the course or practice area and improve your game with My Golf Book.

You may have noticed that we’ve streamlined our homepage a little. We continue to evolve and change certain features of our site from time to time. We’ve removed the Joke of the Week because frankly, we were seeing the same jokes submitted time and again. We ran the Joke of the Week for several years and unfortunately, new golf jokes simply don’t keep up with the calendar. We also removed the Shout Box. We were getting some good comments but it simply was not getting used too much. We may add a simple forums feature in the future. Finally, we removed the Pro’s Corner and shifted the Newsletter in its place. There are many good golf tips in magazines, on television and in your own golf shop that are useful. With all these tips coming from different areas, we felt that adding more tips was simply confusing to the average golfer. Remember that My Golf Book can still be used with tips no matter where you get them.

Our Newsletter continues to run. The current Newsletter features an interview with golf entrepreneur and business leader, Donna Hoffman, from Women on Course. Women on Course is a women’s golf and networking group that started just 3 years ago and is picking up steam nationwide. They have events all over the country. The events not only include golf but also happy hours, luncheons, spa days and luxury weekend retreats. Women looking to network with other women golfers or those new to the game can have a great time both on and off the course with Women on Course. Check them out at www.womenoncourse.com.

We posted a new Travel Center article from Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas, www.bartoncreek.com. This is a great place to get out and enjoy wonderful weather, exciting golf, luxurious accommodations and great opportunities for spring golf getaways.
